Magnum - Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans Domaine de Montille 2007 ORGANIC

100% Pinot Noir. Biodynamic wine. The Domaine's ‘Mitans’ parcel, which comes from the word ‘milieu’, is remarkably situated mid-slope and faces east. The nose of ‘Mitans’ is often very floral, with hints of violet and spices, oriental and complex with notes of small black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries). On the palate, the structure is dense and tight, but the tannins are always well coated, giving the wine great smoothness and a voluptuous texture. The finish is spicy, slender and elegant. This is probably the Domaine's most sensual and carnal Volnay.
