A fruity and sweet black tea from Sri Lanka, with broken leaves and a caramelized red apple flavour.

Love apple in its brilliant red color, let yourself be seduced by the unique fragrance of this emblematic tea from our house.
The recipe, unchanged since 1972, is based on Ceylon black tea and offers a fruity accord of great intensity.
This bewitching fragrance became known the world over, particularly in Japan, where actress Mari Yoshimura, in the spring of 1974, declared her love for this French recipe.

A popularity that continues to this day in the land of the rising sun.

Sensory analysis

This is a tea full of intensity. The base, close to English tea time teas, is structured and woody. This vigor and structure are softened, however, by the sweet and tender notes of the red apple cooked in a cauldron.
