Dom Pérignon 2005 Creator

The company has been in existence since 1743. The brut impérial cuvée owes its name to Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who is said to have awarded the Legion of Honour to Jean-Rémy Moët. His grandson was the first to conquer the international market and quickly transformed the brand into a global symbol of celebration. Made from the finest grapes, Dom Pérignon reflects an absolute commitment to vintages. Dom Pérignon can only be made in a single year, a real challenge for an original interpretation of the seasons. Each vintage reflects our infinite confidence in the constantly renewed creative power of our Cellar Master, Vincent Chaperon. Sustainable viticulture. Dosage 9g/l.

Tropical notes of guava and curry leaf blend with the more classic notes of zest and ripe stone fruit. Cocoa and roasted spices complete the picture. The vinosity is invigorating, the initial richness growing and asserting itself, more physical, solid and structured. The finish is remarkable, vaguely folded and with the juicy bitterness of blood orange.

Dom Pérignon Rosé 2005 is an extremely fleshy champagne. Its fresh acidity, grainy tannin and sap highlight its tactile side. The lively structure of this wine is perfectly enhanced by seafood. It can be paired with langoustines and hummus, or with deviled eggs, caviar and a raw asparagus salad. Dom Pérignon Rosé 2005 reveals all its minerality with smoky notes when accompanied by meat, for example beef sashimi.
