FAUCHON blended tea

FAUCHON, creator of scented teas since 1886, composes each of its teas as the great perfumers combine their essences. The FAUCHON blend is one of the most famous tea creations of the House: a fruity black tea where the scent of citrus zest subtly blends with the sensuality of vanilla.

Macarons

The kiss-kiss

An iconic symbol of the House with delicate and sensual lines, this fruity creation brings freshness and indulgence. On a crispy crumble with caramelized almond slivers, this dessert conceals a raspberry compote resting on a soft Madagascar vanilla biscuit. The whole thing is topped with a signature vanilla and tea ganache "Mixture Fauchon" with gourmet citrus notes.

Candied chestnuts from Turin and Naples

Candied chestnuts from Turin and Naples are the must when it comes to candied chestnuts. At FAUCHON, the production of these great classics in the purest tradition is perpetuated: before being candied, the chestnut is manually wrapped in tulle muslin, in order to preserve its subtle taste. Some recipes are also the result of this tradition, but revisited with creativity to combine candied chestnuts and chocolate or candied chestnuts and cognac.

F biscuits

F biscuits are the perfect combination of fresh butter, high-quality wheat flour, extra-fresh Breton eggs and a love of well-made biscuits. Sleek squares, adorned with the monogram, they are a real contemporary delight from a biscuit-making craft.

FAUCHON's answers to your questions

True emblems of the House, exceptional products such as Caviar Beluga d'Aquitaine and Truffes Noires Entières have made Fauchon famous. Succumb to the varied flavors of our macaroons, refined teas, artisanal jams and many other delights. Opt for a bottle of Dom Pérignon 2005 Créateur, a Brut Impérial cuvée named after Emperor Napoléon Bonaparte. Made from the finest grapes, it reflects eternal confidence. Accompanied by tender and delicious toasted Foies Gras, it will delight the taste buds of fine connoisseurs.

For a perfect infusion, it's crucial never to boil the water. Each type of tea requires a specific temperature to release its aromas.

For green teas, a 3-minute infusion at 75-80°C is ideal. Black teas require 4 minutes at 85-90°C, except for broken leaves, which require 2 to 3 minutes. Darjeeling is brewed at 95°C. Blue teas require 4-5 minutes at 95°C, while white teas require 5-6 minutes at 60°C. Infusions, on the other hand, are made at 100°C for 5 to 10 minutes.

Cover your tea to preserve its aroma. For a green tea such as Mint or Jasmine Chung Hao, 75-80°C is perfect. For a black tea such as Assam or Earl Grey, opt for 85-90°C. Savour all the richness of your Fauchon teas.

Chung Hao Jasmine Green Tea is scented according to an ancestral Chinese tradition. Jasmine flowers are arranged on a layer of green tea, opening in the evening to naturally perfume the tea. This operation is repeated several times, which gives the finished product a floral, intense and refreshing flavor.
