Fauchon Fig Jam is part of a collection of jams made from the finest French fruit. This range from France exploits each terroir for its specific characteristics to ensure production under the best conditions. The figs in Fauchon jam come from Provence. The region's Mediterranean climate is so favorable to their development, that it is the leading supplier of figs to the French market. Fauchon's artisanal recipe releases the sweetness of the fig while preserving its freshness. The fruit is meticulously selected at just the right ripeness to preserve and intensify its aromas and fragrances. To enhance the quality of the ingredients, Fauchon perpetuates tradition through slow cooking in small batches with cane sugar in copper cauldrons. This ancestral method brings out the caramelized, honeyed flavors that are the signature of Fauchon jams.
